Sel Rotti.

INGREDIENTS:-

  • 1 kg rice
  • 2 kg unsalted butter
  • 4 c fresh milk
  • 6 cardamoms
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 200 grams sugar
  • Cooking oil

 

PROCEDURE:-

 Grind rice coarsely; add butter and mix thoroughly. Add fresh milk gradually, stirring constantly; add rest of the spices and sugar. Keep on stirring until the mixture is like a dough. Take 2 tbsp dough; flatten and shape like a pancake. Drop in hot oil and cook for a minute. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot.
